Tunstall is the birthplace of popstar, Robbie Williams, former member of Take That, whose vocal talents have taken him
across the globe Nowadays, life in Tunstall is focussed around the clock tower and the surrounding buildings which have recently been
nominated for an environmntal award.Tunstall is the most northern town of the city and was once known as Turnhill. Historians have found that iron was being produced in the town as far back as 1280.
