Welcome to The Sentinel Library web site.

The Library was formed in the late 1950's when the newspaper was kept in book form. Due to the amount of space taken up by these books, most of the contents were cut out and archived in cabinets to keep our history protected . Staffordshire history has been captured and kept for future generations to inherit.

Items and photographs filed ranged from: local news and sports, local business men and women, civic dignitaries, sports personalities and  local townsfolk made the headlines.
