Anthea Turner was born in Stoke-on-Trent on 25th May 1960. She left school in 1978 to work for Signal Radio in Stoke, first as a record librarian, then reading traffic reports on air.
In 1995 she signed a £1.5m deal with ITV. Anthea continues up the ladder of success today
